Quick Plug is a global company committed to providing growers with innovative, sustainable solutions to give their plants the strongest start possible.
Our customers are primarily commercial growers, young plant producers, tissue culture propagators or wholesalers. Our products are designed to reduce labor, boost root development and to increase germination rates. We like to work with our customers from A (the challenge) to Z (the solution), and we are committed to adding value to companies and products.
Our entire team is here to help customers succeed in their growing goals, regardless of the system you’re using or the type of plants you grow. We’re industry experts, and we’re here to help find or create the best substrate for your operation.

History
Quick Plug was formed from three individual companies, Grow-Tech, Quick Plug and Omni Growing Solutions. These companies, from the United States, the Netherlands and Canada, respectively, came together in 2018. An official announcement of the new Quick Plug global brand identity was made among the company’s colleagues from the industry who were gathered at GreenTech in Amsterdam and at Cultivate’18 in Ohio.
Since the launch of the global brand, Quick Plug has demonstrated a commitment to innovation and dedicated client service, working every day to achieve our goal of helping growers achieve their greatest results through giving plants a strong start.
In 2022, Quick Plug was acquired by Profile Products, expanding Profile’s portfolio of products to include stabilized growing media.

Quick Plug operates on a global scale, serving clients around the world and striving to solve the challenges growers face in different climates, regions and markets. When Quick Plug formed in 2018, we brought together companies in North America and Europe to create a business with greater reach that doesn’t sacrifice customer service. As Quick Plug Global, our combined network of production and distribution facilities uniquely positions us to service commercial growers and wholesalers worldwide.
